Double Jacketed Gaskets (DJG) are semi-metallic gaskets consisting of a soft, compressible filler (like graphite or PTFE) completely enclosed in a two-piece, folded metal jacket (such as stainless steel, copper, or soft iron). This construction provides superior strength, high pressure/temperature resistance, and resilience by covering both the inside and outside diameters and both contact surfaces, commonly used in heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and flange joints.
